Lee Kottner is a New York writer, editor, and education activist with New Faculty Majority. She earned her B.A. at Chatham University and an M.A. in English at Michigan State University. Her poetry has appeared in literary journals, anthologies, and a chapbook from Blue Stone Press. Stories from the Ruins, her hand-bound, hardcover artist’s chapbook, is part of the permanent collections of both the Museum of Modern Art and the Detroit Institute of Arts. She’s currently working on her next poetry collection, Water from the Well, a novel, The Angels in Orion, and Teaching Poor, an anthology of adjunct instructor experiences that she had at CUNY’s York College, New York City College of Technology, and New Jersey City University.
