Muesser Yeniay was born in Izmir, Turkey, in 1984. She graduated from Ege University with a degree in English Language and Literature. She has won several poetry prizes in Turkey. Her books of poetry are The darkness falls and I drew the sky again. She has also written a book of analysis, The Other Consciousness: Surrealism and The Second New and is the translator of I founded my house in mountains, the poems of Behruz Kia, Gerard Augustin, Michel Cassir, Contemporary Spanish Poetry Anthology.Her poems have been translated into many languages. Muesser is the editor of the poetry magazine Şiirden (of Poetry). She is currently pursuing a Ph.d. in Turkish literature and is a member of PEN. email@example.com
